Agroekoton Association

About us

An ecotone is a transition area between two ecosystems or biological communities. It is in those places, at the forest edges, along river banks, or at the boundaries between farmland and meadows, that life flourishes, with  biodiversity frequently higher than in either of the neighbouring areas.

Our organisation focuses on the intersections between different agriculture-related communities, connecting scientists, growers, consumers, local governments, industry organisations, and many others. We aim to facilitate the exchange of ideas and to create real value, both for those communities and for the environment.

AGROEKOTON is a place for creating new ideas and adapting them for use in agriculture, according to European Union strategies.. Our core values are commitment, cooperation, and innovation.
